A glaring typo error? or a false story?? I dunno,, you tell me.
Ruth Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03270591291920264171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556371561007953336.post-44901649900386726292019-01-24T05:05:26.739-08:002019-01-24T05:05:26.739-08:00I have asked to people in wheelchairs if they need...I have asked to people in wheelchairs if they needed help. Rarely did they accept so I don't ask anymore. If they ask I would surely help. I would never help without asking.

Leaving a restaurant, there was motorized wheelchair broken down on a busy city sidewalk outside. Good semaritan were attempting to put the wheelchair in the trunk of a new luxury car and asked me for help lifting it. I could see it would be difficult so I agreed to help. I did not realize how heavy it was. With three people we could barely lift it and it was obvious we would bash the car and cause expensive repairs. I asked where the wheelchair owner lived and it was a few blocks away and he added he would have the wheelchar repaired the next day. I then asked the restaurant manager and he agreed to store the wheelchair overnight until the repairs could be done. The good semaritan drove the wheelchair owner home.

I left the scene but it never accured to me how vulnerable the wheelchair owner was to possibly having his wheelchair stolen or worse.
Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00389370126117606307noreply@blogger.com
