Every one of them hated Jerry Lewis. One developmentally delayed guy said, very succinctly (and not politically correctly) "He makes fun of retards." <br />I never thought he was funny. His mugging, eyerolling style just didn't appeal to me.<br />He seemed bitter, but some comedians can be bitter and still be funny. Lewis couldn't.<br />He was in poor health when that video was made. He'd had cancer and diabetes and lung problems and his back pained him from a lifetime of pratfalls, and it was obvious he was not enjoying himself, but why take it out on the young man who was as trying to interview him? Unless he just couldn't help being rude and arrogant. <br />He showed some genuine emotion when he talked about Dean Martin, but it was just a flash and then he was petulant again. Too bad he couldn't be more gracious or just cancel the interview.
