Paralyzed since I was 18 years old, I have spent much of the last 30 years thinking about the reasons why the social life of crippled people is so different from those who ambulate on two feet. After reading about the so called Ashley Treatment I decided it was time to write a book about my life as a crippled man. My book, Bad Cripple: A Protest from an Invisible Man, will be published by Counter Punch. I hope my book will completed soon.

Hey Bill,
So sorry to hear you have a fever :( Hang in there.
Oh Bill, this just stinks. Hang in there.
And I hope antibiotics. Worried. Take care!
I have arrived from Claire's blog. Do any of your family have access to a source of books with more meat for your overwhelmed brain, to provide more distraction?
I'm bookish, too, and always turn to books to sooth and comfort and entertain.
Hoping for the best improvements every day.
Mary
You might as well have said "Boo, Fever". Kind of scary, Friend. Be cool(er) soon! Barbara
Long-time lurker, thinking of you and hoping for the best for you.
Just checking in... hope the antibiotics are kicking in and you are beginning to feel better.
A little to be expected but still no less scary. Cool down soon.
Scary, yes. Hoping the fever is down soon.
Hoping and praying that the fever goes away and you feel better soon. Thinking of you.
Fevers stink. I'm so sorry you're going through all this Bill. Sending good wishes your way.
Me too, I'll keep checking back. Please don't write until you feel like it, just wanted to let you know we're thinking of you all the time and hoping you get better fast.
